Musician Press

This product actually behind this project - Musician Press - is still actively under development, but the user interface for the frontend marketing portion is feature complete. I designed and built it in approximately two weeks.

The design heavily features live event photography from Cailen McQuattie. At the time, I was inspired by the 37 Signals aesthetic of strong lines and bright colours.

Some technical details here: it's vanilla HTML/CSS with a little bit of jQuery spice for hover states, tool tips, and the like - with a WOrdPress backend.

The product itself - a hosted blend of WordPress for musicians at a low cost - will hopefully make its debut soon. The live project is viewable at musicianpress.com. The source is not publicly available at this time.
