Running Free

Ah Running Free. This was my first e-commerce project at Moveable Online. I touched every layer of the stack of this project. From working with data in SQL Server 2008 to implementing the user interface and writing Javascript. I wasn't responsible for the design itself - but I *was* responsible for bringining it to life.

The site is fully integrated with an existing POS/ERP system using SQL Server Integration Services. Every night, we pull current inventory from the POS, mux and massage the data, and import the updated inventory counts.

The technical details aren't really that important though. This project opened my eyes to the importance of process and the extraordinary challenges that have to be overcome in the development of complex systems.
